"The world of a surgeon" stars Diego González Rivas, a Spanish surgeon who travels the world teaching a minimally invasive technique for lung operations. He was born in A Coruña and no one has operated in more operating rooms than him: Mauritania, Gabon, India, Pakistan, Venezuela, Costa Rica... Thus, up to 126 countries. International fame came to this thoracic surgeon after in 2010 he performed the worlds first operation for lung cancer through a single incision of just five centimeters. His technique is called Uniportal VATS (Single Cut Minimally Invasive Chest Video Surgery).
